Intelligence — Statistics Hub

GBP Recovery Statistics

This hub publishes structured data from our GBP recovery case work — suspension rates, reinstatement timelines, verification outcomes, and appeal results by case type. We only publish numbers we can back with documented case evidence.

Dataset publication in progress.

The datasets below are in preparation. We are validating case records and applying the review process described in our Intelligence Methodology before publishing any figures. We do not publish preliminary numbers.

Datasets in Preparation

The following datasets are drawn from active case records. Each will be published after internal review and validation. Field names and scope are listed below so that researchers can plan accordingly.

DS-001 In preparation

GBP Suspension Rates by Business Category

Suspension frequency observed across business categories in our caseload, indexed against the relative distribution of cases. Covers high-scrutiny categories (locksmith, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, legal) vs lower-risk categories.

Fields:
  • Business category
  • Observed suspension rate (relative)
  • Primary trigger type
  • Average reinstatement timeline
Source: Active case records, 2024–2026 Will reflect selection bias toward complex cases. Will not represent the full distribution of all GBP suspensions.
DS-002 In preparation

Reinstatement Timelines by Case Type

Observed timelines from initial engagement to successful reinstatement, broken down by case type: automated suspension, manual policy review, ownership dispute, video verification failure.

Fields:
  • Case type
  • Median days to reinstatement
  • Range (10th–90th percentile)
  • Documentation complexity rating
Source: Active case records, 2024–2026 Timeline measured from when GBP Fixers began work, not from initial suspension date.
DS-003 In preparation

Video Verification Outcomes by Business Type

Success and failure rates for video verification attempts, broken down by business type (storefront vs SAB) and category. Includes re-attempt outcomes.

Fields:
  • Business type
  • Category group
  • First-attempt outcome
  • Re-attempt outcome
  • Primary failure pattern
Source: Video verification cases, 2025–2026 Covers only cases handled with GBP Fixers involvement. Self-service verification outcomes are not observed.
DS-004 In preparation

Ownership Dispute Resolution Timelines

Timelines and outcome patterns for ownership dispute cases, including cooperative transfers, contested claims, and agency access disputes.

Fields:
  • Dispute origin type
  • Documentation quality rating
  • Days to resolution
  • Outcome (restored / transferred / unresolved)
Source: Ownership dispute cases, 2024–2026 Smallest dataset — ownership disputes are a minority of overall caseload.

How this data is collected and validated

All statistics published in this hub originate from GBP Fixers case records — not from surveys, third-party data providers, or secondary sources. Every figure is reviewed against the underlying case documentation before publication.

Significant limitations apply to all datasets. Our caseload is not a random sample of GBP suspensions — it skews toward complex cases that required professional help. Self-service outcomes are not reflected. See our full Intelligence Methodology for a complete description of selection bias, observational limits, and correction policy.

When datasets are published, each will include explicit sample sizes, date ranges, geographic scope, and a limitations section. We do not publish aggregate percentages without the denominator.

What's available now

While the structured datasets are in preparation, our published intelligence includes qualitative pattern analysis from the same case work:

Update schedule

Datasets will be published individually as they complete validation — not released together as a single batch. The first dataset we expect to complete is DS-001 (Suspension Rates by Category), as it has the largest underlying case volume and fewest measurement ambiguities.

All dataset publications will be noted in the update log of this page and announced in the GBP Fixers blog. Published datasets are reviewed quarterly and updated when the underlying case record warrants a change.
