A Google Maps listing can disappear for five main reasons: a Google policy suspension, a duplicate listing merge, an address verification failure (especially common for service area businesses), an ownership dispute, or an unexplained data-quality removal. 5 Reasons Your Google Maps Listing Disappeared
Google Policy Suspension
A cause we see often. Google suspends listings it finds outside its guidelines — for example a keyword-stuffed name, an SAB address issue, or a category mismatch. A suspended listing doesn't show on Maps.
